Freezerworks Basic Webinar Classes – Winter 2010

Need training or a refresher on an aspect of Freezerworks Basic?  Sign up for one of our upcoming classes.

Freezerworks Basic classes (not for Freezerworks Unlimited users):

Overview Tues. Mar. 16  at 10 AM Pacific

How to set up Freezerworks Basic:  Users, Sample Types, User Defined Fields, Properties, Enter Samples, Assign Aliquots and Do Searches.

Configure Freezers Wed. March 17  at 10 AM Pacific

How to setup Freezers and create Exceptions within Freezers.  How to use exceptions to consecutively number, e.g., boxes across racks.  Difference between unique and non-unique freezers, use of Next Assignable Position, using freezer Aliases for unique box IDs and other uses.  When to divide a freezer into "virtual freezers".

This class is applicable for Freezerworks Unlimited users as well.

CLIP (Batch Entry) Thur. Mar. 18  at 10 AM Pacific

CLIP (Clinical Lab Inventory Program) is designed for quick entry and quick discard of hundreds to thousands of clinical lab samples. If your lab is storing and discarding large numbers of samples on a regular basis (e.g., daily or weekly) CLIP is for you.

This class offers information on labels, label sizes and formats, and printers that work with Freezerworks Basic. How to create label formats using the Bar Code label editor and troubleshoot label printing problems.

Backup Fri. Mar. 12  at 10 AM Pacific

For both Freezerworks Unlimited and Basic Server owners. Learn how to set up Freezerworks Server to prepare and schedule backups, and maintain log files. Also learn how to restore backups in case of emergency.
