Account Manager – Northeast RegionAdministrative Assistant

What you’ll be doing …
As Account Manager, you are first and foremost a consultant to life science and biotech professionals. In this outside sales position, you will work with prospective and current clients in the northeastern United States to learn the intricacies of their daily work to find the best solution to serve their organization. The sales process involves in-depth needs analysis, design of proposed solutions in configurable software application, and formal presentations of developed solutions. You must have the ability to adapt solutions in a wide variety of fields and communicate effectively to lab personnel and CEOs alike.

Daily activities include …
  • Fact finding phone calls with prospective users
  • Configuration of Freezerworks software for custom demo presentations
  • Live software presentations via web meetings
  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders via phone, web, and email
  • Develop and manage opportunity pipeline in CRM
  • Occasional travel to industry trade shows and client meetings

Qualifications …
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

What you'll be doing:

In this role, you will support the daily functions of the administrative team and report directly to the Administrative & Financial Manager.

Daily activities include:

Administrative Assistant Tasks
  • Answers calls with pleasant phone etiquette and routes calls to proper department
  • Retrieves mail from PO Box and mailbox daily to be distributed
  • Maintains office supplies by checking stock to anticipate needs; places orders and verifies receipt
  • Ensures proper service and maintenance of office equipment (copier, Keurig, etc.)
  • Maintains clean breakroom
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing other related tasks as needed
Bookkeeping Tasks
  • Assists Administrative & Financial Manager in daily duties
  • Delivers semi-monthly Health Savings Account check to local bank
  • Sends monthly statements to customers via financial software
  • Enters bills into financial software
  • Invoices customers on as needed basis
Sales Processing and Fulfillment Tasks
  • Records consumable sales in Salesforce
  • Fulfils and ships product orders, creates packing slip
  • Tracks shipped orders online; follows up on held shipments
  • Assembles and sends sample label kits to prospective customers
  • Maintains production supply inventory; anticipates needed supplies; place orders
  • Processes customer credit card payments for consumable orders

  • Strong administrative writing skills

Qualifications
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft suite
  • Microsoft Office suite understanding is a plus
