Environment Testing
Ensure the safety and integrity of your live production data.
What testing environments do you need for your organization?
GAMP® Guidelines classify Freezerworks as a Category 4 – Configured Product.
Category 4 test plans encompass three elements: configuration, functionality, and requirements.
Proper staging for testing is determined by your evaluation of the complexity and impact of Freezerworks to your system. Depending on complexity and your institution’s requirements, you may need several copies of Freezerworks to follow your validation procedures for commercial software. Test plan documents should specify and justify which of these environments will be used.
Testing Environments
At most, you may need up to three copies of Freezerworks to successfully test and implement the software at your organization - Development, Validation, and Production.
If you’re interested in saving time and resources on your validation projects, see our IQ/OQ Packages.
-
Most customers do not utilize a development environment, but your institution may require it.
This environment is often used to isolate testing of configurable items such as field definitions, user roles, and screen design.
-
This environment offers formal, controlled testing.
This is as similar as possible to the production environment, but can be reset to restart testing as often as needed.
Installation, Operational, and Performance Qualifications processes can all be safely performed here.
