“With Freezerworks, we can track our brain samples with a level of detail that was previously unattainable. This includes maintaining a clear lineage for our samples, aliquots and subaliquots; having a robust audit trail of all actions taken within the system; and tracking samples sent to investigators. We were able to customize the system to our specific needs, which helped our transition to Freezerworks.
The software is very customizable and offers many features that help to streamline operations, such as Batch Update, Import, and Workflows. With Import, we were able to upload years of historical data in a short period of time with minimal risk of entry errors. Workflows and Batch Update have made data entry much more efficient and have saved time for our staff.
Freezerworks has also made searching our inventory and data much easier. Not only do we have the ability to generate searches on all of our data, but we can create charts and dashboards to quickly visualize our sample/donor data, as well as export our data to Excel.
